This agency that has it ALL going on in terms of incentives, conference, exhibitions, gala dinners and product launches, is looking for an Account/Event Manager to join their team.
Looking for someone who is used to working in a fast paced environment, and who can turn around a high volume of incoming events enquiries quickly and with a smile.
As Event Account/Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful project delivery of events across key accounts, taking accountability of everything from product sourcing and distribution through to completion and execution. Enhancing the client and customer experience by working creatively, proactively and thinking outside the box. Overcoming business challenges, providing solutions, developing relationships, and working consistently to deadlines with strong attention to detail.
As part of your role, you will be required to manage budgets, and so should be confident with complex financials that span across several currencies. You will be able to demonstrate creativity for brief concepts, produce detailed proposals and be confident pitching to clients, in order to assist with the company drive for client expansion and growth.
We are working on several roles for this agency including:
- Account/Project Manager – mid level experience, will be working on 2 main accounts likely, pharma client and an FMCG, £36-£42k someone organised, logistics driven, research and sourcing, not as creative needed necessarily. ASAP start.
- Account Manager / SAM – bit more experienced, likely working on pharma clients main big events in UK and EMEA, conferences, roadshows, logistics and operational, EU knowledge ideal particularly France and Germany. Someone who can hit the ground running, some previous pharma experience a plus, not not essential. £40-£45k, ASAP Start. Some management experience a plus or desire to manage.
- Account Manager – Bespoke – creative, experienced ideally, ideal if you have incentive experience or conference experience. £38k - £45k.
Skills and Attributes
- Experience with the RFP process; creating detailed proposals and event briefs, client pitching and detailed cost sheets supporting account growth and opportunities.
- Experience delivering incentive trips, managing exhibitions and producing conferences as well as traditional event types.
- Experience sourcing and communicating with suppliers globally.
- Solid understanding of global venues, alongside excellent research skills.
- Proven experience with detailed budget reconciliation and budget management.
- Confident managing large scale budgets and event forecasts in multiple currencies.
- Demonstrate outstanding time management, problem solving and organisational skills.
