Position Overview:
To provide leadership, expertise and support in the areas of employee relations, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement and diversity & inclusion for both the UK and global entities. Overall responsibility for day-to-day people operations and systems.
The role will be 2-3 days a week office-based (London) with regular travel to the other UK office
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience of leading an HR/People function, ideally in an agency environment of similar size
- Substantial experience of supporting and working with senior stakeholders (e.g. Exec team)
- Experience of working in business where freelancers, contractors and suppliers form a large proportion of the resource base (able to adjust to varying resource levels)
- A business partner approach with solid understanding of the key principles of employment law (including relating to recruitment) and an appetite to keep up with industry trends
- Experience in using an ATS and HR system for end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and reporting. Experience of managing either a learning experience system or learning management systems would be advantageous.
- Experience of budget management ensuring that costs incurred provide a good return on investment / are value for money
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- A solid understanding of the key principles of learning & development best practice. Keeps up to date on industry practice trends.
Desirable:
- CIPD level 7
- Experience of managing an HR function in the Middle East
- Experience of working within an agency environment (ideally events/experiential).
