Social Media - Account Director

Overview

Our client is an integrated creative communications agency where brands intersect with and elevate culture. They have partnered with brands to create work with cultural impact for over 20 years.

They implement an audience-first approach to identifying brand-specific culture and audience passion points from which to craft and deliver activations, and operate at the intersection of physical and digital communications, connecting with audiences across Social Media, Content, Live Brand Experience, Talent and Influencers and PR channels.

The Role

We are seeking a Social Media Account Director with a strong digital and social-first background.

You will also understand digital’s potential to amplify physical activities such as live events.

You will have experience working with brands in the music, fashion, gaming, sports and food and sectors.

 

Key Social Client Lead:

  • Maintain and build client relationships that inspire and deliver trust in recommendations and solutions
  • Lead the social media work with integrated accounts

 

Creative & Campaign Oversight:

  • You will be the direct report for the creative and production team as they develop and implement social media campaigns
  • Be an inspirational agency contributor to a culture of creativity, ensuring that the company pushes the boundaries of digital, social media and cultural trends

 

Financial Oversight:

  • Cost client jobs and manage budgets ongoing, working alongside the management team
  • Work closely with the finance and management team to forecast social media financial performance, and assess risks and opportunities as part of account planning

 

Business Development & Partnerships:

  • Assist where possible to develop potential new clients
  • Lead relevant pitch processes, developing social solutions that set the agency apart
